WHAT IS SWSM?
The purpose of SWSM is to empower, encourage and inspire women to take control of their finances as early in life as possible. SWSM does this by providing speakers, most of whom are women, who can provide practical advice and real-life examples of how women can budget, save and invest wisely. The conferences are free for all participants.

A lot has changed since the first SWSM conference in 2001, but women still face significant challenges when it comes to their personal finances. As the economic downturn continues, women everywhere want reliable information about how to save, spend wisely and make smart decisions in these tough times. In this anniversary year of Smart Women Smart Money, the Treasurer's Office is proud to again offer these conferences as a way for women to come together, celebrate their accomplishments and learn with and from each other.
