Banking Today and What May Be
This session will address the status of banking today, recent changes, and possible upcoming changes. There have been many rule changes impacting banking over the past few years with Dodd-Frank federal legislation and Basel changes - the international banking standards. We will explore what impact this is having and will have. Through all this, the number of banks in the U.S. and Illinois continues to decline.

Investments and Economics
An interactive discussion of the current world of governmental investing, rates, economy, etc.

Data Security Practices and Policies
With the evolution of technology, citizens are demanding greater interaction with government; more and more records are quickly becoming digital documents and legislation is requiring certain policies be implemented. With traditional technology quickly becoming unrecognizable, the importance of securing sensitive financial data and policies governing the protection of this information is more critical than ever. This session examines certain standards, legislative requirements and provides a roadmap to establish policies and procedures.
